We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Paralegal to join our fast-paced legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with our team of attorneys, providing high-quality legal services to our diverse clientele. You will be instrumental in supporting our legal staff with various tasks including legal writing, drafting legal documentation, client interaction, litigation support, document review, and legal assistance. This role requires a highly organized individual with exceptional time management skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive paralegal support to our legal team, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, motions, and pleadings.
  2. Conduct legal research and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy of case data.
  3. Prepare and manage discovery requests and responses; track and manage case documents.
  4. Assist attorneys in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and coordinating witness schedules.
  5. Maintain regular contact with clients, updating them on case progress, upcoming deadlines, and legal procedures.
  6. Transcribe legal proceedings, interviews, and meetings as required.
  7. Prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
  8. Ensure all legal documents and data are correctly filed and easy to locate.

Qualifications:

  1. Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field. A bachelor's degree will be considered an advantage.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a fast-paced legal environment.
  3. Proficiency in legal writing and documentation, with a strong ability to draft a variety of legal documents.
  4. Experience in client interaction, litigation support, document review, and legal assistance.
  5. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  7. Familiarity with the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests and responses.
  8. Experience in legal transcription is preferred.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
