If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Consulting Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role requires a deep understanding of family law, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to providing top-notch service to our clients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in handling complex family law cases.

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Family Law Paralegal, you will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting extensive legal research to support case preparation and provide accurate information to attorneys.
  2. Managing client relations, including maintaining regular contact with clients, answering their queries, and ensuring their needs are met.
  3. Preparing and managing all necessary legal documentation, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  4. Providing legal assistance to attorneys during trials, including gathering evidence, coordinating witnesses, and preparing trial notebooks.
  5. Ensuring legal compliance in all activities and adhering to all professional ethics and confidentiality requirements.
  6. Preparing legal cases from the initial stages through to resolution, including conducting client interviews, gathering facts, and drafting legal documents.
  7. Utilizing legal software for efficient case management, document retrieval, and client communication.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in the field of family law.
  2. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  3. Proven experience in legal research, client relations, drafting legal documentation, and providing legal assistance.
  4. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge of legal compliance requirements in the field of family law.
  6. Experience in preparing legal cases, including conducting client interviews, gathering facts, and drafting legal documents.
  7. Proficiency in using legal software for case management, document retrieval, and client communication.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  9. Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
