Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our growing team in the Finance industry. This role is integral to our financial health and involves a high level of responsibility, analytical skill, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial operations, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's success and growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
2. Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to management and board of directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required).
3. Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
4. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms' performance.
5. Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations (hiring/terminating policies) and other corporate policies.
6. Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
7. Responsible for all corporate and human resource activities including employee benefits, retirement plans, corporate insurance and related activities. This includes the coordination of these activities with all satellite offices as well.
8. You must have proven experience in managing a finance team and be capable of managing corporate finances.
9. Implement cash flow strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and capital raising.
10. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required, MBA preferred.
2. 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
4. Previous experience in the financial sector is required, with a strong understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
5. Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial planning software.
6. Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.
7. Proficient in corporate finance principles and financial strategy.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
