Job Details:

Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to oversee our financial operations and direct our company's financial planning and structure. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, forecasting, and secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the finance industry and a forward-thinking vision to navigate the financial future of our company.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
2. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO and Board of Directors.
3. Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.
4. Study long-range economic trends and project their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
5. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
6. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
7. Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
8. Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
9. Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
10. Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline. MBA, CPA, or CMA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
3. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
5. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
7. Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.
9. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
10. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
