Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in the Construction industry? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Site Work Project Manager. In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of our civil site work projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, excellent leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

As a Civil Site Work Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  2. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
  3. Reviewing the work progress on a daily basis.
  4. Planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
  5. Coordinating and managing all project activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  6. Developing a detailed project plan to track progress.
  7. Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
  8. Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors.
  9. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  10. Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and reporting issues.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Permanent Civil Site Work Project Manager position, you must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in civil site work project management.
  3. Proven working experience in construction management, including record of successful project completion.
  4. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
  5. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  6. Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
  7. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  8. Excellent time and project management skills.
  9. Strong leadership and team building abilities.
  10. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  11. Ability to read, understand, and create contractual documents, agreements, and bids.
  12. Proficient in construction management software.
