Are you a dynamic, experienced construction professional with a passion for building quality multifamily projects from the ground up? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a Permanent Construction Superintendent for Multifamily Projects. This is a unique chance to join a dedicated team and play a pivotal role in the construction and development of multifamily projects. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position will oversee all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

As a Construction Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
2. Ensuring that all construction activities comply with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
3. Coordinating and supervising the work of all subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce on the construction site.
4. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of workmanship.
5. Resolving any work-related issues that may arise, including disputes, accidents, and delays.
6. Reporting regularly on project status to senior management and other stakeholders.
7. Implementing and enforcing rigorous quality control and safety programs on the job site.
8. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically in the field of multifamily construction projects.
2. Proven experience in ground-up construction is a must.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
4. Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in construction-related software.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
