An established and growing nationwide developer is looking for a Construction Project Manager for their local multifamily projects throughout Sandy and SLC, UT. This is a full-time position and no travel is required, all projects are local. Any experience with podium/PT decks is a nice skill to have.

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Construction Project Manager with a focus on multifamily projects to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading construction company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing construction projects, with a specific focus on multifamily housing. This role involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

As a Construction Project Manager for Multifamily Projects, you will:

  1. Manage all aspects of the construction process, including the selection of subcontractors, the supervision of work crews, the procurement of materials, and the compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  2. Coordinate and supervise the design and planning of construction projects, working closely with architects and engineers to develop detailed plans and specifications.
  3. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
  5. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members.
  6. Resolve any issues or delays that may impact the successful completion of the project.
  7. Foster a culture of safety and quality, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a specific focus on multifamily projects.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  3. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  5. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
  6. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  7. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
  8. A proven track record of successfully completed projects, demonstrating leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
