Job Details

Duties:

Conduct initial research for drafting or responding to complaints.

Draft and perform legal research, including cite-checking for motions, pleadings, and briefs.

Research precedent and case law to support legal arguments.

Draft and proofread discovery requests and responses.

Handle electronic filings in state, federal, and appellate courts.

Possess knowledge of court dockets, rules, calendars, and files.

Maintain, organize, review, and analyze discovery production.

Coordinate and oversee projects with litigation support vendors.

Prepare attorneys for all phases of in-person or remote depositions, hearings, and trials.

Attend trials and oral arguments to provide support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-7 years of Paralegal experience in corporate litigation.
  • Must have Chancery Court experience.
  • Experience e-filing in DE courts and familiarity with DE court rules.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Solid proofreading skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure with or without direct supervision and ability to multitask.
  • Availability to work overtime on weeknights and weekends.
