Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Corporate Governance litigation practice.

The team is known for its impactful outcomes in corporate governance, addressing issues such as unfair deals, executive compensation, and workplace discrimination.

The Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting these efforts, contributing to the firm's mission of enhancing market transparency and corporate practices.

  • Conduct legal and factual research using platforms like Westlaw, LexisNexis, and BloombergLaw.
  • Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, including briefs and complaints.
  • Manage case files and maintain reference files efficiently.
  • Perform electronic court filings and manage calendar deadlines.
  • Assist in preparing for depositions, coordinating with external parties.
  • Maintain accurate time entries using ProLaw, Dayforce, and iTimeKeep.
  • Attend monthly virtual Paralegal/Case Manager meetings.
  • Execute tasks assigned by attorneys and the Managing Director of Paralegals.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
  • Proficient in cite checking, Bluebooking, and legal research tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Federal/State rules and filings, and PACER.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with class action and Delaware Chancery Court cases.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, non-exempt position based in New York, NY.
  • Hybrid work model: 3 days in-office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays required), 2 days remote.
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs.
