Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and services to corporate clients on a wide range of business immigration matters, including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, and EB-5 visa applications.
  • Prepare and file petitions and applications with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and other relevant government agencies.
  • Advise clients on immigration compliance and related legal issues.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current with changes in immigration laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in immigration hearings and appeals, if necessary.
  • Work closely with clients to develop and implement immigration strategies that align with their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the firm to ensure a comprehensive approach to client service.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files, documentation, and client records.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be admitted to the New York State Bar.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing business immigration law.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, government officials, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with corporate clients on complex immigration matters.
  • Familiarity with PERM labor certification process.
  • Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
