Salary: $185,000 - $200,000 per year

• Organizing, developing, and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with standards and facility guidelines
• Overseeing and evaluating all nursing personnel, including registered nurses and LPNs
• Guiding staffing procedures within the facility
• Setting objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
• Developing and enforcing policies related to legal compliance and high-quality care
• Overseeing budgets and monitoring expenditures
• Being on call for emergencies

Skills You Need

• Current, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in NY and active CPR certification
• Extensive nursing home experience with some experience as a DON
• Previous supervisory experience in a nursing care facility preferred
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet navigation
• High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
