Job Details

Our prominent law firm is actively seeking an Associate Attorney with a focus on Healthcare Law. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing legal services to a broad range of clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare law, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience. This role requires a deep understanding of legal writing, legal documents, and litigation matters within healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on a wide range of healthcare law issues.
  2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to healthcare law.
  3. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.
  4. Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of healthcare law issues.
  5. Develop and implement legal strategies and solutions to meet clients' needs and objectives.
  6. Manage and oversee cases from inception through resolution, ensuring timely and efficient progress.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting clients in the healthcare sectors.
  8. Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals to provide high-quality legal services.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare law.
  3. Admission to the California State Bar.
  4. Proven experience with legal writing, legal documents, and litigation matters.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals.
  7. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  8. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  10. Strong commitment to client service and excellence in the practice of law.
