Salary: $80 - $100 per hour

Our organization is seeking an experienced Consulting Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic technology team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological direction of our company by designing and implementing high-quality software solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software architecture, with a focus on SOLID principles, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define and implement the strategic technical direction of the company.
• Design and develop robust, scalable software architectures based on SOLID principles.
• Provide expert guidance and consulting to project teams on software architecture, design, and coding practices.
• Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods.
• Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
• Regularly review and optimize the architecture for maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Continually research emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
• Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a software development role, software architecture role, or a related field.
• Deep understanding and experience with SOLID principles.
• Proven experience as a software architect.
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
• High quality organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach.
• Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. C#, Java, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with various operating systems and databases.
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Professional certification in TOGAF, CITA, EACOE, or similar is a plus.
