Job Details

We are currently seeking a Associate Family Law Attorneys to join our offices in Charlotte and Boone, NC.

This role requires at least 1 year of experience in the field of family law.

The ideal candidate will have solid litigation skills and comfortable in the courtroom.

Responsibilities:

  1. Represent clients in court proceedings related to family law matters such as divorce, child custody, spousal support, etc.
  2. Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and responsibilities.
  3. Draft, review, and file legal documents including petitions, pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  4. Conduct thorough and detailed case research to support legal proceedings.
  5. Negotiate settlements in a timely manner to resolve disputes efficiently.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current family law rules and regulations.
  7. Develop and implement effective case strategies in consultation with clients.
  8. Work collaboratively with legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.
  9. Comply with all legal standards and protocols to maintain the ethical integrity of the practice.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A valid license to practice law in the state North Carolina.
  3. A minimum of 1 year of experience in family law.
  4. Proven experience in legal writing and providing legal advice.
  5. Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes efficiently.
  6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain a strong attorney-client relationship.
  8. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
  9. Ability to handle a high caseload while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  10. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the firm's reputation for integrity and professionalism.
