We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Permanent Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in our fast-paced, growing organization. As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial reports to ensure the organization's financial health. This role requires extensive knowledge in areas such as V-lookups, data visualization, budgets, forecasts, cost efficiencies, profitability, and monthly and quarterly corporate reporting requests.

Responsibilities:

As a Financial Reporting Accountant, your core responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  2. Conducting detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and anomalies in the data.
  3. Utilizing PowerBi V-lookups, X-lookups and other advanced Excel functions to manipulate and analyze large data sets.
  4. Creating compelling data visualizations to communicate financial performance and forecasts to key stakeholders.
  5. Developing comprehensive financial forecasts and budgets, and monitoring performance against these plans.
  6. Identifying and implementing cost efficiencies to drive profitability and organizational growth.
  7. Responding to ad-hoc corporate reporting requests and conducting special projects as needed.
  8. Ensuring all financial reporting is compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Financial Reporting Accountant position will possess the following qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's Degree or CPA certification would be a plus.
  2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field.
  3. Proficiency in V-lookups and other advanced Excel functions.
  4. Strong experience in data visualization and financial analysis.
  5. Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  6. A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  7. Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  10. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
