Salary: $25 - $30 per hour

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Working with customers at the sales counter.
  • Answering phone calls and emails from customers. Taking notes on what parts and equipment customers need for projects. Supplying quotes when requested.
  • Take orders by email, fax, and Internet.
  • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
  • Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase sales
  • Call customers to promote new items and services.
  • Pulling orders together using internal and external logistic channels.
  • Schedule order for will call or delivery.
  • Stocking showroom and warehouse area.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales role in the HVAC or related wholesale industry
  • Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Programs and, ideally, Windows-based CRM programs
  • Personable phone skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Strong customer service skillset
  • Candidates with bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred!
