Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex litigation cases, providing critical support to our attorneys and clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, have a minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, and possess a deep understanding of legal procedures, terminology, and court system.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive litigation support to our team of attorneys throughout the life cycle of a case, from inception through discovery, trial, and post-trial findings and appeals.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and initial case assessments.
  • Manage all aspects of document production and review, including E-Discovery.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and file them with the court.
  • Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, setting up and managing trial files and exhibits, and coordinating trial logistics.
  • Review and manage client files, maintain contact with clients on a regular basis.
  • Assist with depositions, witness interviews, and court proceedings.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date case management system.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Proficient in E-Discovery, drafting pleadings, trial preparation, and e-filing.
  • Strong knowledge of legal document preparation and contract review.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited program is preferred.
  • Must have a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
