Job Details

As a Tax Senior Manager/Principal, you will play a key leadership role overseeing tax compliance and advisory services, specifically focusing on trust and estate taxation. You’ll work closely with clients and the team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tax returns, research tax law issues, and provide expert advice on estate and trust tax matters. Additionally, you’ll help develop team members and drive high-quality service delivery. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge and a passion for leadership in the tax field.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review fiduciary income, gift, and estate tax returns

Oversee estate and trust fiduciary accounting and reporting

Collaborate with fiduciaries, attorneys, and relevant professionals on tax matters

Advise clients on estate planning and coordinate the development of comprehensive plans

Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance on technical tax issues

Manage administrative aspects of trust and estate matters, ensuring compliance and deadlines are met

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, or related field

CPA, EA, or attorney license required

Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax or related professional services

Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficiency with CCH or similar tax applications and Microsoft Suite preferred
