Our esteemed organization is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial procedures within our manufacturing department. With a focus on cost accounting, financial reporting, and forecasting, this role is perfect for an individual who is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of all financial records.
  2. Managing the Accounts Payable process, ensuring all invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner.
  3. Conducting regular account reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of our financial records.
  4. Posting journal entries to the General Ledger and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  5. Utilizing your expertise in ADP Payroll to manage the company’s payroll process.
  6. Analyzing financial reports to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  7. Preparing regular financial reports for presentation to senior management.
  8. Developing financial forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  9. Working closely with other departments to understand and manage manufacturing costs.
  10. Utilizing advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze large data sets.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  3. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  4. Proficiency in ADP Payroll, with experience managing payroll for a large organization.
  5. Strong skills in Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze large data sets.
  6. Experience with cost accounting, with a strong understanding of manufacturing costs.
  7. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial reports and identify trends.
  8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  9. A keen eye for detail, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
  10. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
