Salary: $130,000 - $165,000 per year

We are a local established GC that has been building in Nashville for 50+ years. We specialize in ground-up Industrial and Commercial Construction, and due to growth, we have an immediate need for a talented Senior Project Manager!

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to lead and manage mid to large scale commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including budgeting, risk management, contract management, quality control, and scheduling. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills.

As a Senior Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
2. Managing project budgets, ensuring that all work is carried out within the financial parameters set.
3. Identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks and issues that could impact project deliverables.
4. Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
5. Ensuring the highest standards of quality control at all stages of the project.
6. Providing strong leadership to project teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
7. Developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure project success.
8. Scheduling project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
9. Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and mutual understanding.
10. Implementing and enforcing construction safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have:

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial or industrial construction industry.
2. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proven experience managing mid to large commercial and industrial construction projects ($10M+).
4. Exceptional budget management, risk management, contract management, quality control, leadership, strategic planning, team management, and scheduling skills.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
6. Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively and efficiently.
7. A deep understanding of construction safety regulations and standards.
8. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role.
