The Internal Sales Associate partners with the National Sales Manager, National Accounts, and External Sales to enhance the sales of the company’s product portfolio. This role involves extensive phone interactions with partners, clients, and vendors, and occasional travel to industry conferences, client events, and trade shows. The Internal also coordinates with internal teams to equip the sales team with necessary resources, manages the customer relationship management system, ensures compliance and handles upstream reporting. This position demands a sales-oriented individual with outstanding phone skills, robust work ethic, and a competitive drive to excel.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Permanent Internal Sales Associate to join our thriving team in the finance industry. This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a proven track record in sales and customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and expanding our client base, increasing sales, and contributing to our company's growth and success. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure the achievement of sales targets.
  2. Generate new business opportunities through cold calling and other proactive sales techniques.
  3. Manage and update client information in the CRM system accurately and timely.
  4. Prepare and present sales reports, including forecasts, trends, and challenges, to the management team.
  5. Travel to clients' locations for face-to-face meetings and presentations as needed.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure high-quality customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  8. Comply with all NASD and other relevant regulations.
  9. Provide training and guidance to junior sales staff as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the sales industry
  3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  4. Excellent knowledge of CRM systems and sales pipelines.
  5. Strong skills in sales calls and cold calling.
  6. Exceptional customer service skills.
  7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  8. Ability to travel as needed.
  9. Preffered to hold Series 7, Series 22, Series 63, and Series 66 licenses.
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  11. Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  13. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
