Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and forward-thinking Facilities Manager for our client's water treatment plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing various aspects of facilities management, including piping systems, water treatment, and manufacturing. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring that they meet the needs of the organization and its employees.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the management and maintenance of our client's treatment plant, ensuring that they are in good working order and meet safety standards.
  2. Develop and implement maintenance procedures, and ensure that they are followed by all staff.
  3. Manage the maintenance of and repairs of piping systems, ensuring that they meet the needs of the organization and comply with industry standards.
  4. Oversee the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems, ensuring that they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  5. Manage all aspects of manufacturing within the facility, including the management of staff, the monitoring of production, and the maintenance of equipment.
  6. Develop and manage the facility's budget, ensuring that all expenses are within the allocated funds.
  7. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the facility's operations align with the goals of the organization.
  8. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any potential issues and implement solutions as necessary.
  9. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding facility operations and safety.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field if preferred.
  2. 15+ years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on piping systems, water treatment, and manufacturing.
  3. Proven experience in managing and maintaining large-scale facilities.
  4. Strong knowledge of facility operations and maintenance procedures.
  5. Excellent understanding of piping systems and water treatment processes.
  6. Demonstrated experience in managing manufacturing processes within a facility.
  7. Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  8. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  11. Ability to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding facility operations and safety.
  12. Proficiency in using computer software for facility management.
