A law firm in Seattle, WA, is seeking a highly skilled Liquor Attorney to work with a diverse clientele in the alcohol, beverage, and cannabis industries. This role involves handling licensing, trade practice compliance, distribution, contracts, and dispute resolution. The successful candidate will collaborate with and manage a talented team of attorneys while contributing to a collegial and client-focused environment.Duties:Advise clients on licensing, trade practice compliance, and distribution matters in the alcohol, beverage, and cannabis industries.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to the alcohol and beverage sectors.Resolve disputes and manage litigation involving liquor-related issues.Collaborate with and support a team of attorneys across various firm offices.Engage in business development and client management, including the potential to build a partial book of business.Contribute to a positive and cooperative office culture focused on excellent client service.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.Active license to practice law in Washington State.Minimum of 7+ years of experience handling liquor matters.Strong academic credentials with excellent analytical and writing skills.Proven client-service approach and exceptional communication skills.Enthusiasm for working with and leading a diverse team.Education:JD from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:License to practice law in Washington State.Skills:Expertise in liquor law, including licensing, compliance, and dispute resolution.Ability to manage and collaborate with a team of attorneys.Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.Client-focused with a commitment to exceptional service.FDA experience and a partial book of business are advantageous but not required.
