Job Overview:
A law firm based in Portland, OR is seeking a highly skilled Liquor Attorney to work with a diverse range of clients in the alcohol, beverage, and cannabis industries. The successful candidate will play a key role in collaborating with and managing a talented team of attorneys while providing exceptional client service in a collegial office environment.Duties:Advise clients on licensing, trade practice compliance, distribution, contracts, and dispute resolution in the alcohol, beverage, and cannabis sectors.Collaborate with and help manage a team of attorneys across the Firm’s offices.Develop and implement legal strategies to support clients' business goals.Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and other legal proceedings.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and legal developments.Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.License to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.Minimum of 7+ years of experience in liquor law matters.Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills.Demonstrated ability to manage significant individual responsibilities and contribute to team success.Education:JD from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law.Skills:Exceptional client-service approach and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage a diverse group of attorneys.Enthusiasm for working with and building a diverse team.FDA experience and a partial book of business are advantageous.Strong analytical skills with a client-focused mindset.
