The UCSF Women's Health Primary Care Clinic team includes internal medicine specialists, family medicine specialists and nurse practitioners with expertise in caring for women. We provide comprehensive care with an emphasis on prevention, education and patient participation. When needed, we will refer patients to our network of specialty providers.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.The salary range for this position is $95.69 - $124.10 (Hourly Rate).Required Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, family medicine, women's health (primary care only) or gerontology (geriatrics).Possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to successfully perform the duties of the assigned position.Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.Preferred Qualifications
Three (3) years related experience as a Nurse PractitionerExperience in primary care with a focus on womenFluency in Chinese or SpanishFamiliarity with electronic medical records systemsLicense/Certification
California driver's license (CDL) if required for position.Current national certification from an accepted certifying agency and provide by first day of work.
Accepted Certifications for this position: FNP-C, FNP-BC; or dual adult (A-GNP-C, ANPC, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC, or WHNP-BC
Current and active RN and NP and Furnishing license in California.Complete a BRN recognized graduate master's degree program as a nurse practitioner.Obtain an active and/or transferable DEA license to California and provide evidence by 90th day of clinical practice.Submit enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through credentialing by first clinical day.Current AHA BLS as minimum requirement.State regulation requires that you have a supervising physician to practice.Incumbents with less than 6 months of NP experience will be hired as a Nurse Practitioner 1.About UCSF
