Job Summary

The Senior Events Sales Manager provides business development to the Sales Department through targeted market outreach for specific venues, as well as develops and maintains community and client relations. Performs special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities / Duties

Directly support and assist the Director of Event Sales and VP of Sales.

Assume the role of lead event salesperson for all Southern California Disruptive Group locations, as well as event sales for other brands/locations as necessary.

Complex calendaring including but not limited to the shared calendar; administrative support, event scheduling; holds, confirmations with venue, and book-its.

Voicemail follow-up and rolling calls as needed.

Inputting and updating contacts.

Assisting with general sales outreach - including but not limited to correspondence, thank you notes, emails, etc.

Monitor and filter inbound sales leads and assist with the sales team.

Preparing and sending out sales packages, menus updates and sales collateral, etc.

Special projects as assigned including sales and execution of smaller events.

Accounting Support in regard to updating invoices, deposits, final payments and book-its.

Track the status of payments made for all events with the Sales Manager, making copies for accounting for event files as well as sending receipts to clients.

Weekly Distribution of SEOs, staffing requests, and all necessary information for the operations meeting. Weekly attendance of events, marketing & GM meetings is mandatory.

Plan and assist in executing all booked events with the ability to manage client’s expectations.

Maintain department files.

Develop working relationships with all clients, BOH, operations, staff, valet, and vendors.

Assist with the creation of private event sales kits and collateral to drive revenue and promotions.

Provide onsite and logistical support for marketing and sales events.

Competencies

Individual must be personable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Strong computer skills a must (Outlook, Excel, Word, general databases).

Emphasis in math skills for accounting assistance.

Flexible with respect to the demands and hours needed in this role and being willing and able to work evenings and weekends to support the Special Events team is a must.

Must exhibit the ability to plan, prioritize, and demonstrate exceptional follow-up skills.

Must be courteous, persuasive, client-focused, professional, and positive at all times.

Skills/Qualifications

Experience in database organization.

Basic understanding of legal contract language.

Requirements:

Work Authorization

Must be able to provide documentation that shows you are authorized to work in the United States. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.

Education / Experience / Credentials

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Language

Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and interpret business documents in the English language.

Travel

Must have access to reliable transportation locally, as this position also requires some time to be spent at the corporate office and at business units locally.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
