JOB TITLE : General Manager
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY:
Five (5) years of hospitality industry management experience, in the restaurant environment
Strong local hospitality experience and commitment
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to connect, resolve conflict, drive engagement, and develop teams
Ability to analyze financial statements and modify operations to meet financial goals
Ability to embrace full leadership of the team and the business
Ability to innovate and demonstrate original thinking
Functional expertise in hospitality management
Ability to lead and inspire teammates
Exceptional communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
Proficient in Windows Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.
Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously to perform essential job functions
Job Focus
Support the team and guests
Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling
Evaluate and develop processes to drive performance and productivity
Ensure accountability for health, safety, emergency management, sanitation, maintenance, and licensing
Directly coach and develop venue leadership, chefs, and managers
Drive venue performance through ongoing feedback and evaluation
Define and demonstrate Employee Standards of Conduct
Oversee day-to-day operations, including floor management and guest experience
Collaborate on developing and implementing budgets, operating plans, and policies
Responsible for P&L analysis and maintaining budgets
Liaise with and assist other teams
Promote sbe’s culture of authenticity, mastery, and innovation
KEEPING IT FOCUSED
Communicate effectively to provide clear direction
Maintain calm and alertness during emergencies
Make decisions based on experience and good judgment
Develop and implement cost-saving and profit-enhancement measures
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
Attend mandatory meetings
Participate in community events
Collaborate on projects as assigned
Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics
Ensure compliance with sbe’s policies and procedures
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
