Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their firm in Cumming! This opportunity is with an established mid-sized law firm that provides comprehensive legal services to a diverse mix of government clients across the state of Georgia. A minimum of 4 years experience supporting multiple attorneys in a busy litigation setting and Paralegal Certificate area required for consideration. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

The incoming candidate will work closely with an established team of paralegals and provide support for a wide range of litigation matters including eminent domain and condemnation proceedings, land use, real estate, construction, municipal law, and general civil litigation among others. We are seeking a dynamic self starter with a strong work ethic who enjoys litigation and values teamwork, long-term stability, and organizational culture. Interested candidates must have strong foundational knowledge of Georgia Superior Court Rules and experience with e-filing and recording procedures. Candidates with previous eminent domain/condemnation proceedings, real estate, or real property litigation experience are encouraged to apply.

The incoming paralegal will have a dynamic role providing valuable support to the litigation and DIRT (dirt, infrastracture, real estate, and transactions) team of the firm.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Provide litigation support to multiple attorneys for real estate, condemnation, eminent domain, and other general

civil litigation matters.

• Track and manage case deadlines, including court dates, filing deadlines, and other critical milestones.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, real estate transactions documents, motions, and subpoenas.
• E-file in State and Federal court systems.
• Act as a primary liaison between the attorney and clients.
• Conduct legal research on real estate laws, zoning regulations, property disputes, and other relevant issues.
• Effectively collaborate with other team members and work independently as needed.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with court orders, settlement agreements, and other legal obligations.
• Assist with special projects as needed
