Job Details:

We seek a dynamic and highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual looking to leverage their experience in long-term care defense and litigation law. As an Associate Attorney, you will provide legal support and counsel to our clients and ensure that our legal obligations are met. You will play a crucial role in managing and driving multiple complex transactions, as well as drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal agreements. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and services to ensure the maximum protection of our clients' legal rights.
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
  • Handle a variety of matters, including long-term care defense.
  • Conduct research to support a legal proceeding, to formulate a defense, or initiate legal action.
  • Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for the presentation of cases.
  • Supervise legal assistants and paralegals and delegate responsibilities as necessary.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest legal trends and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • At least 2 years of experience in long-term care defense OR medical malpractice experience.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of professional integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
