Salary: $80,000 - $160,000 per year

• Work hybrid remote
• Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload in either Oregon and/or Washington
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and strict adherence to legal standards.
• Perform comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and provide well-founded legal opinions.
• Assist partners in managing cases, including preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions, ensuring they understand the process and key points of their testimony. Attend, defend, and take depositions, analyzing transcripts to identify case strengths and weaknesses and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Proactively identify and undertake additional duties relevant to the associate role, contributing to the team's overall success.
• Develop business skills through mentorship and leveraging the firm’s network to attract and retain clients, ultimately building your own book of business.

What we are looking for:

• Licensed to practice law in either OR or WA - ideally both
• Recent Worker's Compensation Defense experience
• Proficiency in discovery, depositions, and motions
