We are growing and looking for a Worker's Compensation Attorney to work out of our Sacramento office - Hybrid schedule!

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
  • Present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in workers compensation litigation.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
  • Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
  • Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
  • Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients, updating them on their case progress and legal changes.

Qualifications:

  • 3-9 years of experience practicing civil litigation defense, preferably in a reputable law firm.
  • Strong litigation skills, including experience with motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
