Job Details
  • Must be available to work from our office *

Responsibilities:

  • Strong client communication and provide comprehensive case management consistent with our client's goals
  • Excellent writing skills, i.e., drafting professional and accurate emails and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel
  • Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, declarations, judgments and memorandums
  • Making court appearances and attending meetings with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals
  • Assisting Senior Attorneys with litigation support, conducting research, writing motions, and points and authorities
  • Assisting with client relations and intakes

Skills and Experience

  • Must be licensed to practice law in California with good standing with the State Bar
  • 3 years of family law experience
  • Strong working knowledge of the San Diego Superior Court Local Rules, CA Family Code, and Code of Civil Procedure
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and self-motivating capabilities!
  • Handle multiple cases, manage deadlines, and effectively communicate with staff, clients, and the courts
  • Proficient skills in writing motions, declarations, trial briefs, and discovery motions
  • Proficient skills at understanding family law cases, from inception to conclusion
  • Strong experience anticipating and executing the subsequent steps required to bring the case to a resolution.
  • Expertise with discovery procedures and financial disclosure requirements
  • Managing your workload effectively and eager to assist Senior Attorneys with their caseloads
  • Upholds professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong social skills, nurturing positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
