Job Details:

We are seeking a highly dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Medical Payment Poster-HYBRID to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of medical billing, ensuring accurate and timely posting of payments, and maintaining up-to-date records of all transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our organization, contributing to the efficient operation of our billing department and the overall financial health of our practice.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Medical Payment Poster-HYBRID, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Accurately and efficiently posting medical payments to patient accounts.
2. Reviewing and reconciling daily remittance advice for discrepancies and making necessary corrections.
3. Analyzing and resolving payment issues in a timely manner.
4. Identifying and escalating any billing discrepancies to the appropriate department.
5. Working closely with the billing team to ensure accurate and timely completion of all billing tasks.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of insurance guidelines, medical coding, and billing procedures.
7. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
9. Collaborating with other departments to streamline operations and improve the efficiency of the billing process.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Medical Payment Poster-HYBRID position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing, with a strong focus on payment posting.
2. Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance guidelines, and coding systems.
4. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
