Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to work with a fast-paced, results-oriented group. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and managing all aspects of our commercial insurance clients' needs. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working in a demanding environment, managing multiple priorities, and utilizing their excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of middle-market commercial accounts, ensuring all client service needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and insurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the seamless transition of new clients.
  • Review and analyze clients' existing insurance coverage and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee the renewal process for all assigned clients, including preparing renewal proposals and negotiating with carriers for the best terms.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and adjusters to manage claims and risk management issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and products to provide the best advice and service to clients.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management; especially within commercial insurance or property & casualty insurance.
  • Valid state Property and Casualty License.
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An insurance designation such CIC, CPCU is preferred.
