Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing excellent support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.

Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure all employee information is up to date.

Review and verify time sheets, work charts, and other documents to ensure accurate payments.

Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.

Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries to management.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.

Assist with year-end reporting and audits.

Collaborate with HR and finance teams to improve payroll processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

1-5 years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.

Proficiency in payroll software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations is a plus.
