Job Details

Our client is seeking a highly organized and Legal Secretary/Assistant to support its Trusts & Estates practice group. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting an attorney with her estate planning and administration for high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling client meetings and deadlines
  • Prepare estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Maintain and organize client files and legal documents
  • Draft correspondence to clients, courts, and other parties
  • Process client billing and assist with invoicing
  • Coordinate with other departments for cross-practice matters
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in trusts and estates
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred
  • Familiarity with estate planning and administration procedures
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Experience interacting with high-net-worth clients a plus
