Salary: $100 - $125 per hour

We are an Orange County based boutique law firm specializing in personal injury, insurance defense cases looking for a highly motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Civil PI Defense Attorney. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide top-quality legal services to our client. Job Details:

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and management of personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
2. Conduct thorough legal research to identify relevant laws, judicial decisions and legal articles that can be used to strengthen our clients' cases.
3. Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses, ensuring that all documents are accurate, concise, and persuasive.
4. Participate in depositions, mediations, and trials, providing support to senior attorney and client.
5. Communicate with client, opposing counsel, judicial administrative staff, and other relevant parties to gather information, schedule meetings, and coordinate various case activities.
6. Stay updated on the latest developments in personal injury law and civil litigation procedures to provide accurate advice to clients and enhance our firm's competitiveness.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of case strategies, working collaboratively with the rest of the team to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to the CA state bar.
2. At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in a large law firm setting.
3. Proven experience in defense with a personal injury law firm.
4. Exceptional legal writing and research skills, with the ability to draft compelling pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
5. Experience in conducting depositions and participating in mediations.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with client, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
7. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
8. A strong commitment to ethics and professional responsibility, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
