Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and management of personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal research to identify relevant laws, judicial decisions and legal articles that can be used to strengthen our clients' cases.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses, ensuring that all documents are accurate, concise, and persuasive.
- Participate in providing support to senior attorney and client.
- Communicate with relevant parties to gather information, schedule meetings, and coordinate various case activities.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in personal injury law and civil litigation procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of case strategies, working collaboratively with the rest of the team to achieve favorable outcomes for our client.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in paralegal focusing on civil litigation, personal injury and insurance defense.
- Proven experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm.
- Exceptional legal writing and research skills, with the ability to draft compelling pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with client, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- A strong commitment to ethics and professional responsibility, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
