As a Law Enforcement Coordination Specialist in the U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO), you will join a team responsible for carrying out the public safety mission of the Department of Justice and USAO in the District of Wyoming. In this role, you will perform a variety of duties to promote the effective utilization of federal, state, and local law enforcement resources.If selected for this position, typical work assignments will include:Establishes and maintains communication between the United States Attorney's Office and federal, state, and local organizations.Coordinates law enforcement programs by providing a regular forum for organization representatives.Develops and implements specific program activities within the District which promote the effective utilization of federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement resources.Analyzes law enforcement programs, audiences, and priorities.Identifies the informational and resource needs of law enforcement organizations.Manages a comprehensive Law Enforcement Coordination program.Develops and disseminates relevant information through appropriate media.Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.Salary

$86,962 - $113,047/yearConditions of Employment

You must be a U.S. Citizen or National.Initial appointment is conditioned upon a satisfactory pre-employment adjudication. This includes fingerprint, credit and tax checks, and drug testing. GS-12:

To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must meet one full year of specialized experience as defined below.Specialized Experience : One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in Federal service which could have been gained in the federal, public, and/or private sector. Specialized Experience is defined as: identifying sources of funding for specific law enforcement initiatives; providing recommendations and advice to leadership in regard to law enforcement matters; writing and overseeing publications material for law enforcement coordination members and the public.
