Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Manage all aspects of the month-end close process, including the timely and accurate recording of all transactions.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the ledger.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention.
  • Review company expenses and recommend cost-saving strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective cash flow management strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and annual review processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls, company policies, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of best practices in the finance department to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification will be considered a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
