Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the manufacturing industry and has a strong background in working with CNC machines, specifically 3-axis and 4-axis mills. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in architectural woodworking, millwork, and quality control. Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating CNC machines, specifically 3-axis and 4-axis mills, to perform various functions such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Understanding specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Ensure that the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Operator.
• In-depth knowledge of 3-axis and 4-axis mill operations.
• Extensive experience in architectural woodworking and millwork.
• Proficiency in CNC set up and operations.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent knowledge of the CNC machine operation and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• Computer savvy with a detailed understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
• Good communication abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
• Valid certification to operate CNC machines.
