Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Accounting Manager, specializing in SEC Reporting. This role is an integral part of our finance and accounting team within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements and related disclosures to comply with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and filing of all external financial reporting documents and SEC filings, including but not limited to 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K filings.
  • Ensure the accurate presentation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Work closely with the external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, investor relations, and other key stakeholders to gather and validate financial information.
  • Research and analyze new and existing accounting pronouncements and SEC rules to determine the impact on the company and its financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Manage internal controls over financial reporting related to SEC filings and US GAAP disclosures.
  • Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
  • Participate in special projects related to acquisitions, divestitures, and other items as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and IFRS.
  • Proven experience with SEC reporting, including 10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filings.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems and databases.
