Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Controller to join our fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a permanent position that will play a critical role in our financial operations, providing strategic guidance and financial leadership to our manufacturing plant. The Plant Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the plant, including budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. This role will also include managing a team and developing personnel.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all plant accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable standards.
2. Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports and statements, including plant financial statements.
3. Lead the budgeting process and manage the plant's annual operating plans.
4. Conduct financial analysis to identify potential areas of improvement and cost savings.
5. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance financial control.
6. Manage capital expenditure, ensuring all spending is within budget and properly accounted for.
7. Calculate and analyze overhead rates to ensure accurate product costing.
8. Supervise, train, and develop the plant's finance team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
9. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
10. Utilize financial systems such as BPCS, SAP, OneStream, and mainframe-based accounting systems to streamline financial operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. An MBA or CPA certification is strongly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
4. Familiarity with manufacturing accounting systems such as BPCS, SAP, OneStream, and mainframe-based accounting systems.
5. Proven supervisory experience with a focus on team management and personnel development.
6. Strong financial control skills, with experience in budgeting, capital expenditure management, and overhead rate analysis.
7. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
