Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Controller to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in our financial management. As the Plant Controller, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations, including cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all tax and audit regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations of the manufacturing plant, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
2. Develop and maintain manufacturing cost systems, including cost management and cost reduction initiatives.
3. Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making.
4. Manage the plant's budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
5. Oversee the management of fixed assets, including depreciation schedules.
6. Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, preparing and submitting all required tax documentation.
7. Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring all financial operations are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
8. Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
9. Collaborate with plant management and corporate finance teams to develop strategic financial plans.
10. Provide financial expertise and guidance to plant management, supporting operational decision-making.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. MBA or CPA preferred.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing accounting, with a strong focus on cost management and costing.
3. Proven experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
4. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, tax, and audit processes.
5. Excellent financial reporting skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
7. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
9. Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost reduction strategies.
11. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
