Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PI Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for those who have a passion for litigation and personal injury law and are looking to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, innovative environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to handle all aspects of personal injury law cases from inception to trial preparation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience, with a proven track record in litigation and personal injury law.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent PI Attorney, you will be expected to:

  1. Manage a caseload of personal injury cases and provide expert legal advice to clients.
  2. Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support claims.
  3. Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs.
  4. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  5. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  6. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
  7. Keep clients informed about their case and promptly respond to client inquiries.
  8. Stay updated on developments in personal injury law and participate in continuing legal education programs.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent PI Attorney position should have the following qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the State Bar.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on litigation.
  4. Proven track record of successfully negotiating and litigating personal injury cases.
  5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  7. Ability to handle a high caseload and work under pressure.
  8. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  9. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  10. Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality of client information.
