Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney to join our reputable legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law with substantial experience managing litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex employment-related disputes and deliver high-quality legal services to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in labor and employment litigation cases, including wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and employee classification matters.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, pleadings, depositions, motions, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
  • Provide clients with advice and guidance on compliance with California labor laws and federal employment regulations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver efficient and strategic legal services.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other relevant proceedings.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a top 30 law school (preferred) or significant experience at an AmLaw 100 firm (preferred).
  • Must be admitted to the California Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment litigation.
  • Strong understanding of California labor and employment laws.
  • Excellent legal writing, communication, and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting to manage a demanding caseload.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PAGA cases is highly desirable, though not required.
  • Trial experience in labor and employment litigation.
  • Experience advising both employers and employees on legal matters.
  • Strong business acumen and client relationship skills.
