A law firm in White Plains, NY is seeking a skilled Matrimonial/Family Law Attorney to represent clients through all phases of matrimonial and family law matters. The ideal candidate will manage a challenging caseload independently, handling cases from inception to conclusion and demonstrating proficiency in legal research, drafting, and court appearances.Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in all phases of matrimonial and family law.Handle matrimonial and family court matters from inception to conclusion.Perform legal research to support case strategy and arguments.Draft pleadings, petitions, motions, briefs, and discovery demands.Conduct trials and hearings, including taking and defending depositions.Appear in Supreme and Family Courts as needed.Manage all aspects of case management, including client and/or witness preparation and interviews.Conduct court appearances in Dutchess, Putnam, Rockland, and Westchester Counties (and other locations as needed).Prepare legal correspondence, subpoenas, orders, discovery, and motions.Hold client meetings and phone conferences to discuss case details and updates.Work independently in an autonomous work environment.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in New York State.Minimum of 3 years of experience in matrimonial and family law.Demonstrated ability to manage a challenging caseload independently.Skills:Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings and motions.Strong courtroom skills, including conducting hearings and trials.Effective client management and communication abilities.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Location:White Plains, NYCompany infoBCG Attorney Search125 Park Avenue, 25th floorNew York, NY 10017Phone:
