About the role
As a Quantitative User Experience Researcher, you'll take ownership of our behavior and survey data, uncovering not only what users are doing, but also digging into why, exploring user motivations and attitudes. You'll define and prioritize the quant research agenda, ensuring your insights drive product development, marketing strategies, and overall business growth. Your role will be central in ensuring that data-driven insights influence decisions across teams and keep the focus on our users.
Areas of ResponsibilityQuantitative Research Ownership:
Take charge of the entire quantitative research process, from identifying important business questions to designing studies, running analyses, and delivering insights. You'll be responsible for setting the research strategy that aligns with our business goals and continuously looking for ways to apply quantitative research to influence business outcomes.Data Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources, including customer feedback, website analytics, consumer behavior analytics, App Store reviews, social media, surveys, and market data. Utilize statistical analysis methods such as regression analysis, and T-tests for hypothesis testing.Persona Development & Segmentation:
Own the creation and refinement of behavior and data-based buyer personas and user segments, ensuring they're woven into our marketing and product strategies.Strategic Storytelling:
Craft compelling, data-driven narratives to present insights to product, marketing, user experience research, design, data science, and business analytics teams, ensuring the findings are actionable and impactful resulting in consumer-centric decision-making.Competitive Analysis:
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.Requirements
4+ years of relevant experience in consumer insights, quantitative user experience (UX) research, market research, or a related field, focusing on quantitative methodologies.Proven expertise in analyzing, synthesizing, and communicating findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences to impact product, business, or design decisions.Experience in developing buyer personas and conducting consumer segmentation.Strong SQL skills.Proficient in a statistical analysis tool e.g. R, STATA, or SPSS.Fluent in various quantitative research methodologies including survey creation and analysis, and familiarity with qualitative methods.Ability to develop and execute research projects end-to-end.Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Attention to detail, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Nice to Have
Familiarity with Amplitude for behavior and demographic-based cohort analysis.Experience with BigQuery for managing and analyzing large datasets.Compensation and Benefits
