Digital Quality Assurance Analyst Senior

Establishes and maintains testing standards, processes and tools to enable consistency of testing across the Digital team. Builds an automated regression test program to reduce the impact of new deployments on existing functionality. Writes user story acceptance criteria to aid other team members completing and testing work. Performs testing for digital solutions, provides defect information and assists with resolution and retesting.Major Responsibilities:Creates and maintains up to date quality assurance (QA) standards, including current browsers and operating systems, to be used during the QA process.Develops and continually improves QA processes and methodologies to ensure the delivery of quality products.Evaluates and recommends QA software and hardware and maintains the QA lab to support testing activities. Effectively leverages the QA budget allocated to support the QA lab.Builds and maintains a regression test automation program that reduces the issues introduced to one or more areas of a website by new functionality and/or content added to another area of the same website.Partners with project team members to ensure adequate acceptance criteria are written for each user story.Participates in project planning to ensure appropriate testing coverage is assigned.Mentors technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders on QA processes, standards and tools.Executes testing including test plan development, running test scripts, completing exploratory testing, logging and managing defects, and reporting results.Resolves QA issues in a timely manner.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:None Required.

Education Required:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience Required:Typically requires 5 years of experience in quality assurance methodologies and website development.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:Advanced knowledge of quality assurance processes, defect management tools, diff/merge tools and accessibility compliance (508 and WCAG 2.0).Knowledge of the agile software development methodologies, content management system (CMS) development and software development lifecycle.Understanding of digital channels: websites, mobile, CRM, social media, email marketing, and SEO/SEM.Ability to work and function in a complex corporate system environment and be a champion of our digital strategy efforts.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate/collaborate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and external organizations.Learns quickly when facing new problems, curious and open to change, experiments and seeks advice to find solutions.Effective problem solver that consistently maintains composure and confidence in the face of challenges and serves as a unifying force across teams and departments.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast pace, dynamic environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar products.
