We also have international offices in Montreal, Canada, and Zurich, Switzerland, and are expanding across Europe.The Director, KOL and Community Engagement will support the development of a late-stage commercial asset, Acoramidis, for ATTR-CM. The individual will drive cross-functional collaboration and tactical alignment, ensuring success in the U.S. and across the globe. They will lead the development of assessment, strategic and tactical development, and engagement with key opinion leaders and community stakeholders in this space. Success will be measured by gaining and sharing key insights, developing educational resources, and creating mutually beneficial partnerships with relevant stakeholders.This person will be responsible for engaging key opinion leaders in ATTR-CM and driving BridgeBio’s outreach into communities of African descent to support earlier diagnosis. The position requires excellent communication skills, leadership, and a proven ability to influence the organization. Candidates should feel at home in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Director of Patient Marketing.Responsibilities

Design KOL identification/profiling, mapping, and critical strategic efforts to establish engagement with and by KOLs in the cardiology spaceLead the creation, execution, and maintenance of the commercial Key Opinion Leader engagement plan to build, cultivate and maintain KOL relationshipsCollaborate to develop and manage the Acoramidis speaker bureau, inclusive of program structure/development/maintenance, speaker selection, and innovative approaches to further brand messagingLead the development and execution of commercial advisory boards to inform, uncover opportunities and support brand strategyLead the development of KOL and community steering committee to support outreach and education on hereditary ATTR-CM, disproportionately impacting people of African descentDevelop educational resources in partnership with community organizations (incl. faith based and civic organizations)Develop educational programming in partnership with professional organizations representing physicians of African descentDeveloping targeted measurement plans – setting goals and meeting KPIsWork cross-functionally with agency partners and key internal stakeholders including medical affairs, patient advocacy and brand analyticsNo matter your role at BridgeBio, successful team members are:Patient Champions, who put patients first and uphold strict ethical standardsEntrepreneurial Operators, who drive toward practical solutions and have an ownership mindsetTruth Seekers, who are detailed, rational, and humble problem solversIndividuals Who Inspire Excellence in themselves and those around themHigh-quality executors, who execute against goals and milestones with quality, precision, and speedEducation, Experience & Skills Requirements

This person will be based on the East Coast of the United States7+ years of industry experience (sales/marketing, clinical practice, academic, medical affairs and/or patient advocacy)Experience engaging with community stakeholders in communities of African descent is strongly preferredField-based experience is preferred but not requiredCardiovascular experience is preferred but not requiredExperience leading KOL engagement activities, including the management of KOL data and implementation of strategic initiativesHigh-level strategic thinking, with the ability to translate customer insights into actionable marketing strategy and to align with critical stakeholders on operational prioritiesProven self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a teamAble to handle full workload across multiple projectsCollaborates seamlessly across functions to build effective working relationships and align on strategy and execution.Successful launch experience in a competitive market preferredPassion for health equity and patient education is a mustExcellent oral, written, and presentation skillsHigh level of self-awareness and understanding of the importance of self-monitoring behavior for continuous improvementTrue entrepreneurial spirit – BridgeBio was built to do things differently and address the needs of underserved populations, driven by science and unrelenting passion for patients30-40% travel anticipated incl. for conference attendance, KOL meetings, speaker program attendanceWhat We Offer
